Jack P Shepherd Wins Celebrity Big Brother 2025
Coronation Street actor Jack P Shepherd has been crowned the winner of Celebrity Big Brother 2025, after a dramatic final that saw him beat drag artist Danny Beard, US star JoJo Siwa, and TV personality Chris Hughes.
Also making it to Friday night’s final were comedian Donna Preston and pop singer Chesney Hawkes.
Upon being announced as the winner, Shepherd — visibly stunned — exited the house repeating the word “crazy,” and was warmly greeted by hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best.
“I can’t believe it, I am blown away. I didn’t expect it,” said Shepherd, who has played David Platt on Coronation Street for 25 years. The self-proclaimed Big Brother superfan confessed he expected to finish fifth until the final moments when others were evicted before him. “When JoJo went, my head fell off. I had her nailed down as the winner,” he added.
Reflecting on his time in the house, he said: “I loved the whole thing. I was skipping into the diary room even when they were telling me off.”
This season made headlines early when Hollywood star Mickey Rourke entered the house, only to be ejected days later due to “unacceptable behaviour” and “inappropriate language” following a heated incident involving JoJo Siwa. Siwa and fellow finalist Chris Hughes developed a strong friendship throughout the show, with Siwa revealing during the series that she now identifies as queer rather than lesbian.
The lineup also included familiar faces such as TV presenter Trisha Goddard, Olympic legend Daley Thompson, EastEnders icon Patsy Palmer, former MP Michael Fabricant, presenter Angellica Bell, and reality TV star Ella Rae Wise.
However, it was Shepherd who ultimately captured viewers’ hearts. The 37-year-old actor, who joined Coronation Street at age 12, said he hopes to remain with the soap for another 25 years.
This series marked ITV’s second celebrity revival of Big Brother, drawing around 2.7 million viewers for its launch earlier this month.
