Olympic icon Daley Thompson became the third celebrity to leave the Celebrity Big Brother 2025 house after losing the public vote on Friday night. Earlier, housemates nominated Daley, 66, and Patsy Palmer, 52, for eviction during Thursday’s episode.
Presenters AJ Odudu and Will Best greeted Daley during his exit and chatted with him about his experience. He described his time in the house as “fantastic” and added, “I would have liked to have stayed longer, but I’m happy to come out.”
Daley admitted he had low expectations for his fellow housemates but said they surprised him. “I didn’t have high hopes for them in there, but they’ve been funny,” he shared.
After learning that housemates criticized his lack of help in the kitchen, Daley insisted, “I promise on my child’s life—I helped out.”
Drama, Tasks, and Earlier Evictions
Daley’s departure follows the exits of Trisha Goddard earlier this week and Michael Fabricant, who left in the first eviction. Meanwhile, in a bizarre twist, contestants JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes shocked viewers when they urinated in a cat litter box during a task. Big Brother had told them to behave like cats for the challenge, which included using bowls, chasing laser pointers, and making snarky “catty” remarks.
Viewers quickly expressed their disgust online, and Big Brother reminded the duo to use human toilets moving forward.
Mickey Rourke’s Controversial Ejection
One of the season’s biggest controversies came from Mickey Rourke, 72, who repeatedly made homophobic remarks toward JoJo. He claimed she’d “no longer be gay” after spending time with him and added that he wanted to “vote the lesbian out.”
After continued behavior issues, Big Brother removed him from the house. Rourke later admitted his mistakes, saying, “I did wrong… I’m a work in progress.”
Bonds, Alliances, and Who’s Left
JoJo and Chris have formed a strong bond since Chris defended her against Rourke’s comments. The pair, now known for their “bromance,” have shared a bed and exchanged secret messages—actions that led to a warning from Big Brother.
Remaining contestants include Chesney Hawkes, Angellica Bell, Donna Preston, Ella Wise, Jack P. Shepherd, and Danny Beard. With alliances shifting and tensions rising, the drama inside the house continues to escalate as the 2025 series unfolds.
