Amazon Prime Video officially announced the House of David Season 2 premiere date. The second season will debut on October 5, 2025, launching exclusively through the Wonder Project subscription on Prime Video.

Fans will watch the first two episodes on release day. Afterward, additional episodes will stream weekly, keeping audiences engaged. Later, the series will reach all Prime Video subscribers, though Amazon has not yet confirmed that release date. Meanwhile, first-look photos show glimpses of the Biblical drama’s return.

Kelly Merryman Hoogstraten, CEO of Wonder Project, explained the service’s mission. “As a mom, I’m always searching for meaningful shows to watch with my kids. That’s what Wonder provides,” she said. Moreover, she stressed the importance of inspiring content. “We recommend stories that restore faith in things worth believing in. With Wonder, we both entertain and uplift.”

The Wonder Project subscription costs $8.99 per month or $89.99 annually in the U.S. In addition, it offers more than 125 licensed titles and over 1,000 hours of programming at launch.

Alongside House of David, the subscription includes popular series such as Mr. Bean, Party of Five, Sherlock, Pride and Prejudice, The Conners, and The Mysterious Benedict Society. Furthermore, subscribers can enjoy acclaimed films like American Underdog, Dead Poets Society, Friday Night Lights, Jesus Revolution, Lincoln, My Girl, Rudy, The Sandlot, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, and The Sound of Music.

Jon Erwin, founder of Wonder Project, highlighted the excitement of the launch. “The dream of Wonder is to make it easier for families to decide what to watch together,” he explained. Therefore, launching with House of David Season 2 feels perfect. “The response to the show has been incredible. This season is both epic and emotional, and we’re thrilled Wonder subscribers will see it first.”

As a result, the debut of House of David Season 2 strengthens Wonder Project’s position in the streaming market. With a mix of faith-driven storytelling, family favorites, and timeless classics, the service aims to set itself apart. Consequently, October 5 is shaping up as a landmark date for Prime Video audiences.
