Actor Austin Butler home purchase made headlines as he acquired Brad Pitt’s Los Feliz estate for $5.2 million. The deal closed last Friday, months after the property suffered a burglary.
In June, three suspects scaled a fence and broke in through a front window. They ransacked the home while Pitt was away promoting “F1.” The stolen items remain unreported, and police did not announce arrests.

Butler’s new home spans just over 2,000 square feet. It features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, solar panels, a luxury built-in sauna, and a large outdoor pool.
Brad Pitt had bought the property, known as “The Steel House,” in April 2023 for $5.5 million from oil heiress Aileen Getty. He lived there briefly before selling it to Butler.
After the sale, Pitt purchased a $12 million Hollywood Hills estate. He chose the new home for its enhanced security features, including a theater, fire pit, pool, six bedrooms, and eight bathrooms. Security has always been his top priority, especially after the burglary at the Los Feliz home.
The Austin Butler home purchase stands out in Los Angeles’ celebrity real estate market. Fans and observers noted Butler’s move as significant. He acquired a property with architectural charm in a prestigious Los Feliz neighborhood, joining other Hollywood homeowners.
